Amazed, that’s what we were when we toured this home during set up days. Everything was absolutely stunning. I usually scan the bottoms of a few pieces of crystal hoping for the Waterford mark. In this home, every piece was not only signed Waterford, but many even had the master craftsman’s signature. If it wasn’t Waterford, it was Baccarat or Val St. Lambert. The stemware is Riedel, the china is Quimper Pottery, linens are Ralph Lauren or Williams Sonoma, and even the every day flatware is Reed & Barton. Moving on to the furniture, the dining room table is from the Merchandise Mart paired with designer chairs. Mixed in with the new are incredible antique brass beds (yes, more than one!), a roll top desk, secretary with bookcase top, Bombay chest with marble top, and so much more. Oh…and a collection of antique phonographs, love those gramophone horns! Come enjoy the view inside this spectacular Libertyville home and be AMAZED with us!
